DAVID LERNER ASSOCIATES RENEWS SUPPORT FOR 33RD ANNUAL LONG ISLAND POLICE APPRECIATION RUN

The brokerage firm of David Lerner Associates and the Greater Long Island Running Club will be joining forces once again this year to host the 33rd annual David Lerner Associates Long Island Police Appreciation 5 Kilometer Run.

This year’s Run will be held on Thursday evening, June 27th over the traditional Eisenhower Park 5 Kilometer course.  The Run will be held three weeks later in the year than usual to avoid conflicting with the Cricket World Cup being held at Eisenhower Park in the first half of June.

The Run will once again provide funding for the Long Island Police Crisis Foundation, which over the past three decades has distributed over $500,000 to Nassau and Suffolk Police families dealing with health related financial problems.

“We are delighted to continue our support for local  law enforcement by sponsoring this annual event once again,” observed David Lerner Associates CEO Marty Walcoe.  “Sponsoring this event and contributing to the growth of the Long Island Police Crisis Foundation reflects our company's identity and commitment to the Long Island community. We invite everyone to join us on June 27th, whether you run, walk or cheer, to support Long Island’s police officers.”

Everyone who signs up for the Run will receive one of the mens and womens soft cotton relaxed fit tank tops, enjoy a 5 kiloemeter run or walk, and enjoy great post-Run refreshments, at the same time as you are supporting our local Police here on Long Island..
